1.0 Supply of services
1.1 (I,) Jodé Bliss-Thompson (me,) shall provide the Service to you subject to these Terms. Any changes or additions to the Service or these Terms must be agreed by me and yourself.
1.2 You must ensure, where practicably possible, that I am provided with all necessary access to the premises or site where the Service is to be performed and shall take all necessary steps to ensure that the Service can be performed in a safe and healthy working environment. No animals permitted around my kit due to any subsequent allergies.
1.3 The Service shall be provided in accordance with the Contract letter/email of booking confirmation and otherwise in accordance with any other published literature relating to the Service.
1.4 I may at any time, without notifying you, make any changes to the Service which are necessary to comply with any applicable safety or other statutory requirements, or which do not materially affect the nature or quality of the Service.

2.0 Wedding Charges
2.1 Subject to any special terms agreed in the Contract Letter of Booking, you shall pay us the Standard Charges and any additional sums which are agreed between me and yourself for the provision of the Service.
2.2 A deposit of £50 is required to hold any booking, this is non-refundable. If deposits are not received your date/appointment cannot be guaranteed.
2.3 You shall pay for the Service on the date specified in the Contract Letter of Booking.
2.4 If I am unable to perform all or part of the Service for any reason whatsoever outside my control including failure by you to comply with any of your obligations under the Contract, I shall nevertheless be entitled to full payment.

3.0 Wedding Cancellations
3.1 By paying your deposit you are entering into a contract with me and agreeing to my terms and conditions
3.2 I must be notified of any cancellations by a minimum of 2 months prior to the date of the wedding.
3.3 I will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will be liable for further payments depending on the time scale.
3.4 If the client cancels 6 months or more before the event no further payments are required.
3.5 If the client cancels 2-6 months prior to the event 50% off the bill is still payable as a cancellation fee.
3.6 If the client cancels 0-2 months prior to the event full payment is required to cover product costs & admin already undertaken and loss of work for the day.
3.7 Any reduction in numbers on your booking less than 6 months prior to your wedding will still be charged at 75% of the price per person.
3.8 If a client books for the agreed minimum, Bride +2 in peak season and then reduces numbers less than 6 months before the event then full payment for Bride + 2 will still be due.
3.9 For cancellations made by me due to circumstances including, but not limited to, emergency, act of God or illness rendering me unable to complete the booking we will endeavour to source an alternative Makeup Artist. A partial refund may be offered as a good will gesture. We will not be liable for any further compensation.
3.91 It is strongly advised you take out wedding insurance to cover you against these situations.

4.0 Beauty treatments: Bookings, Cancellations & Rescheduling Policies
4.1 I kindly request that you give me at least 24 hours notice for any beauty treatment cancellations.
4.2 Patch Tests: Must be carried out for new Clients at least 24 hours prior to any appointments for: Lash lifts, Brow Tints, Lash Tints.

5.0 Payments
5.1 Payments are accepted by cash or bank transfer.

6.0 Warranties and Liability
6.1 I warrant to you that the Service will be provided using reasonable care and skill and, as far as reasonably possible, in accordance with the Contract of Booking and at or within the times referred to therein. Where I supplies any goods that are supplied by a third party, we do not give any warranty, guarantee or other term as to their quality, fitness for purpose or otherwise, but shall, where possible, assign to you the benefit of any warranty, guarantee or indemnity given by the person supplying the goods to us.(Please see I Returns Policy)
6.2 I shall have no liability to you for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising from any provision of the Service except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or under the express terms of the Contract, for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims which arise out of or in connection with the provision of the Service (including any delay in providing or failure to provide the Service ) or their use by you.
6.3 I shall not be liable or be deemed to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of my obligations in relation to the Service, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond my reasonable control, including any fault or failure of you or third party.
6.4 It is the responsibility of the client to inform me of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. I cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform me of any known conditions. I reserve the right to refuse services to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.

7.0 Title to Goods
7.1 I will retain the legal ownership of the goods until full payment has been made by you and such payment has been received by me. Legal ownership of the goods will immediately revert to me if I refund any such payment to you.

8.0 Risk of loss
8.1 Risk of the goods will pass to you upon receipt of delivery to you.

9.0 Delivery
9.1 Any delivery timescale’s quoted to you are indicative only. I do not accept any liability whatsoever for delayed delivery caused by any third party.

10.0 Acceptance of Goods
10.1 Upon receipt, you must inspect the goods. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods unless you notify us that you have cancelled the order and/or you return the goods in accordance with the Returns Policy. If no such action is taken, we shall not be obliged to accept any rejection of the goods at a later date. Your statutory rights are not affected.

11.0 Returns
11.1 I am committed to offering my customers and clients excellent products. If you feel the products you received from me do not meet this expectation, you may return any item in its original condition for a full refund within 14 working days from delivery provided that you tell me within 7 working days after the day on which you received the products that you intend to return the item.
11.2 If you cancel your order but do not return such goods to me within 14 working days, I shall be entitled to collect such goods from you and to charge you for the direct costs of collecting the goods. You should note these charges (which may be deducted from a refund) are likely to exceed the costs of you returning the goods. Until such goods are returned to us, you are obliged to exercise all reasonable care to store the cancelled goods safely and in appropriate conditions.
11.3 Please note that I cannot accept returned goods that I reasonably believe have been used. In such circumstances, I will notify you that no refund will be available.

12.0 Complaints
12.1 If you wish to complain about any matter in respect of the goods or services provided by myself please let me know by email: info@makeupartist-devon.co.uk.

13.0 Privacy Notice
13.1 I will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from me. However from time to time I would like to contact you with other details of news, offers, competitions and new services we provide by text or email. No information will be passed on to or shared with third parties or for marketing purposes other than the professional companies we use for information storage and advertising. If you wish to opt-out from receiving this please let me know in writing/by email.
